Looked to me like the same color all pictures, but I of course am not as close to her as you are. She will change with the seasons they have a bit thinner coat in the summer. But she does have re/orange and it is there to stay. I doubt that she will get a lot darker, looks to me like she has the top gaurd hairs, and will only have the major change in her undercoat. I could be wrong, just hope it goes the way you want, actually it’s is one good looking dog.
How old can a siberian husky be before its eyes stop changing colors?
i have a husy that is 9 weeks old and she has 1 eye that is blue and 1 that is hazel/brown and blue (which just turned about 2 weeks ago
All puppies start out with bluish eyes. By the time a puppy is 9 weeks old, their eyes should be changing/have changed to the color they are going to be.
The eye that is still brown and blue may turn completely brown, but it’s just as likely (in this breed) that the eye will stay partly brown and partly blue. I have several dogs in my kennel with “split eyes” — a single eye that is blue with some brown and vice versa. It is common in the Siberian Husky.
The other eye (that is blue) will stay blue. If it was going to change, it would have done so by now.
At 12 weeks, your puppy’s eyes will be whatever color they are going to stay.
I have an 8 week old husky with brown eyes. How rare is it for his eyes to change color??
The mom was born with brown but changed to blue and the dad has brown?? I want blue eyes so what are my chances of him getting them keeping in mind that he is 8 weeks and he is full blood Siberian Husky?
All puppies have blue eyes when born. It is a darker blue, but it isn’t brown. Whomever told you the mother’s eyes changed from brown to blue is either color-blind, or lying.
Here is what I see in my puppies: When their eyes open, they are (as I said) all a cloudy blue. In the puppies who are going to have blue eyes, the eyes will lighten as they age — you can tell that they are going to stay blue by 8 weeks.
In the puppies who will have brown eyes, the eyes will stay a darkish-blue, and then darken into brown. You sometimes can’t tell for sure that they are going to be completely brown until they are closer to 10 weeks.
My 6 week old Siberian Husky has blue eyes. Will they stay blue?
His parents both have blue eyes. Will his stay blue if they are still blue at 6 weeks of age? I heard they can change colors when they get older.
At what age does a Siberian husky puppy’s eyes change color?
She has dark blue eyes at 3 weeks right now, will they lighten up? Or will they turn brown? a few of the other puppies already have light blue eyes.
I’m getting her in 42 days! so excited.
