  1. About how much do Siberian huskies puppies cost? And are they easily house trained?
We’re trying to convince my parents to let us get a dog but we need one that is easily house trained because we just moved into a new house. Any helpful suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    • Depending upon the breeder, and the area of the country, $50-700. But remember why dogs are bred. Huskies were bred to run, and pull sleds, and as such they love to run and pull sleds even to the point of dropping dead….— even if it is away from you.

Pit bulls were bred to fight, Australian shepherds were bred to herd, and so on. Huskies, as a rule really don’t much care about your house — they were not really bred to be house pets. Check out places like Petsmart, and Petco for appropriate dogs for your needs. Sometimes the best dog for your needs is a mutt…. and they are healthier, too. They have lots of books too, and people who really can answer your questions.

  2. How much would a siberian husky puppy cost (younger than 8 weeks) with supplies and shots?
I might be getting a husky so, I’m just wondering how much would it cost.

  3. How much do siberian husky pup’s cost?
hi. just moved to the country with my girlfriend, now we have some extra space we are looking to get a couple of siberian huskies but have no idea how much they cost

    • On the net adverts are for £500 and up.
But please go to a good breeder, its the best way to ensure you get a good healthy pup and if there’s any problems you can go back to them.

Never get a pup from a pup farm, or any other bad conditions.

  4. How much do Siberian Huskies cost?
So, I’m looking to buy a dog and I came across the Siberian Husky. They seem great, and they look so nice! However, the look exotic i guess, and I was just wondering how much they would go for? And where could I find them perhaps? I live in Jersey btw.

Primarily, I just want to know the price ranges.

    Thank you!! :)

    • You should reallllly research the breed before deciding that you want to get one. “Looks” aren’t everything. They are really gorgeous dogs. They also are stubborn, love to run (including away from you and into traffic), can’t be let outside off-leash without a 6′+ fence, and require a ton of exercise (lace up those running shoes!)

Shelter & rescue organization dogs tend to cost $300 and under. Poorly bred BYB dogs cost around $300-$500. Pet-quality well-bred dogs start at around $600-$1000 and a champion show dog (if you’re lucky to find a breeder who doesn’t want to keep it for his/herself) could cost thousands of dollars.

  5. how much do siberian huskies cost for a month?
ok, so I’m thinking of adopting a siberian husky. she is spayed and current on shots. the question is how much would i spend on her food, vet visits ( how often do they have to have vet visits? ), hygiene, etc…

    • Siberian Huskies are one of the healthiest dog breeds there is, well bred, that is. It cost me around $20 a month in food, I dont figure in the raw liver and a can of sardines a week he gets. So, maybe $30 a month in food. Heart worm meds $50 every 6 months. Yearly vaccinations $120. Flea control $35 every 6 months. You are looking at $500-$600 a year. This does not include any unforeseen issues.

You buy the undercoat rake once-$12.

A Siberian Husky is a very clean dog, they are about as anal about cleaning themselves as a cat.
Maybe a trip to the groomer 2 times a year. The cost varies from one groomer to another. I had one who groomed my first Siberian for $25 plus a tip, but most groomers charge $50 and up, I just brush mine 3-4 times a week.

Siberian Huskies need less food than other similar size dogs. They were bred to pull sleds for up to 100 Miles a day on a minimal amount of food.
